Deal of the Century ?
Well, we stopped at the Antique co-op this afternoon, and usually there are never any pipes. Today, there were 3 stands that had pipes though. Not alot to choose from, except one...

Detours...
"As many of you know, I have a site devoted to my carving, www.windjammerpipes..... I have decided that site should remain a showcase for my carving and any discussion of my processes or experiences in carving will remain here on my blog, which would seem logical. Any carver, whether the professional or hobbyist, knows that Briar can be unpredictable. It is a gorgeous wood, but unknown headaches can lie buried beneath. I have heard of carvers going through 3 or more pieces of wood just to complete a pipe because it was riddled with flaws or one particularly large monster was hiding just below the surface. Many will not do custom orders for this very reason. I have recently experienced this headache, but with a pleasant outcome."

Update...
New update at Windjammer Pipes. Some progress on the workbench. Should be a few more pieces this week.
My PAD & TAD attack...
Mine was not quite as intense as some of you high rollers. Matter of fact, I would say it is the equivalent to ordering a McHeartAttack burger in comparison to all of you ordering fillet, but it is what it is.
Tobacco:
2 - 50g. Tin PCCA Orient 996 - $13.95 apiece
1 - 50g. Tin PCCA Aurora - $10.95
You can check out PCCA tobacco Here
You guys should really give this stuff a go. It is on the pricey side, but it is some of the best tobacco I have ever had. Top notch small batch blended, designed for aging. So for all you cellar nuts out there, this is the stuff.
Ready for this S**T....
So, whenever I write a new blog post, I always shamelessly promote it here as well as at ASP and any other forum that strikes my fancy at the time. Well, my most recent post I gave a blurb here with a link to the blog and proceeded to do the same at ASP.
Well, ASP would not let me post for some reason. Confounded, I decided to try a few tests. I placed several other links in my post to see if it would work, and low and behold, it did. So, it seems that someone either specifically blocked my blog URL from being allowed, or reported it as spam, etc. Obviously, I have a REALLY big fan over there. Just goes to show that my most recent article is spot on.
