Q. How do you determine what gets posted to the front page?

A. Every day, we look at the new blog posts, forum posts and other content posted by our members. If something of extraordinary importance or quality is found, we will promote it to the front page.

Q. How do I change my password to something easily remembered?

When logged in, just click on 'My Account' in the left hand sidebar. This will bring you to your account page. Click the 'Edit' tab at the top of your account page. This will give you a page where you can change much of your profile information, including your password.

Q. How do I write to my Blog?

A. When logged in, you should see a link in the navigation menu at the top of the left hand side titled, 'My blog'. Clicking on this link will take you to your blog. At the top will be a link which says 'Post new blog entry'. Click on this link, and you will be at the blog entry screen!

Q. How do I make my own image gallery?

A. Every user has been provided with 5mb of space they may use to create their own image gallery. To create an image Gallery, you must perform the following steps:

  1. When logged in, you will see a link 'Create Image Gallery' in your left navigation menu. Click this link and give your new Gallery a name, and set it to 'Public'
  2. Now, click on 'My Account' in the left hand navigation bar
  3. Click on the 'Personal Files' tab at the top of your account screen.
  4. Use the provided interface to upload the images you would like.
  5. When they are uploaded, they will appear in the top pane of the upload interface.
  6. Click the 'Add to Gallery' link to the right of the images you wish to upload to your gallery.
  7. In the next screen, select which gallery you wish to add it to.
  8. To view a users gallery, merely visit their account screen and click the 'View Gallery' tab at the top of their screen.

Q. How do I add images to my posts?

A. The rich text editor should have a picture of a little tree on the top row of buttons. Clicking this will open a popup window that will allow you to either add a photo from somewhere else on the Internet, or upload to your computer.
