Pipes ... what else?
Do you happen to enjoy tobacco in several ways? Dipping? Snuff? Cigars? Cigarettes?
I pretty much enjoy tobacco in all its forms, except dipping. I just can't get any enjoyment from that. Sure I'll get a proverbial mule nic kick, but that's about it.
Snuff - sure. There's a lot of good stuff out there, and it's all a party in my nose.
Cigars - from time to time, but I think that will gradually change to tobak blends with cigar leaf instead.
Cigarettes - yep. Camels at the moment, but also various RYO blends.

I've tried about 10 cigars in 10 years, most of them in the past year. I can honestly say I don't see myself as ever becoming a cigar smoker in the future.
Nothin' else.
A pipe is just exactly what I like and enjoy.

for me. Over the last 30+ years I've gone from mostly pipes and a few cigars to mostly cigars and a few pipes and now for the last twelve+ years almost solely pipes with an occasional cigar (less than 5 a year). I've never tried snuff or cigarettes, nor do I intend to do so. However, use what you like and like what you use.

Just pipes and cigars here, though the cigar smoking has dropped off dramatically. I have an inventory of close to 300 sticks that will be around until I die at the rate I have been smoking lately.
I had a brief affair with dipping in college, but it only lasted a week or two. It made me sick one night and that was the end of that.
I have smoked maybe a dozen cigarettes in my life, and that was 12 too many.

I've tried a few cigars, but it just isn't the same. I'll stick to my pipes.

Ocassionally snuff and gars. Dipping I don't know about but chew is absolutely too gross.
Fume in pace, ckr
I smoked cigarettes for 25 years along with a pipe here and there. Gave up the butts four years ago.
I have been known to light a cigar, but it's not something I go out of my way for.

did you try röda lacket ?
This is my Pipe. There are many like it, but this one is MINE.
My pipe is my best friend. It is my life.
I must master it as I must master my life.
My pipe without me is useless. Without my Pipe, I am useless
Hi Lars,
I smoke about 8 pipes a week (yeah, I keep track on a spreadsheet. Talk about OCD, eh?). I smoke about 6 cigars a year. Tried snuff once.
I started smoking cigars about 20 years ago. I smoked about 10 a week. about 11 years ago, I was introduced to pipes.
OK, I smoked cigarettes for about 8 months in high school, then started running cross country, so quit.
Cheers,
Tom
I really used to like ciggs and smoked alot. I still always enjoyed a pipe though. For some reason I don't like cigars. During hunting season I will use chew, and like the Beech Nut regular chews. I never got into snuff at all. Pipes will be all I will use for the future and am really enjoying them.
Dave
Sure beats ciggs!
after reading you post, Dave, I recalled that one summer I did use dip. I recall prefering something called W.B. Cut chew, kind of a shag cut. I also dipped Copenhagen. Tried Red Man and got sick. I was about 20 years old, then. I'm 53 now.

An avid lover of my pipe, having a bowl whenever I can, I also use chew everyday. Not dip (overly chemically-tasting and just not as satisfying) anymore. I used to be a dip fiend, but once I got my hands on some redman, I never went back. Chew is delicious. However, my pipe will ALWAYS trump chew.
E: I mean just think about it. A big chaw of chew or a nice pipe in the evening for an hour. There's simply no comparison. No matter how much I love chew, pipes just have that appeal, you know?
Smoke everything? Probably, at one time in my ill-spent youth, I would smoke anything legal, though unfiltered Camels and Luckies might have been my secret addiction. hey, cigarettes were about $0.35/pack and vending machines were everywhere. For the faux-intellectual, Camels and Gauloises were the smoke of choice. In the last 40+ years, pipes and cigars are the choices, and then only Muniemaker cigars (Connecticut Valley wrappers, very nice taste). The last six months have been a down time for me, smoking less than 6 bowls /day, maybe a cigar/week.

Ciggartes yes, but less and less, only what I grow on my own( or when friends bring me back a carton from trips )
Snuff, totaly, this is replacing my ciggarette use.
Hookah, quite a bit, with the wife and the coffee house.
Pipe, at least 2-3 bowls a day, usually on the walk to and back from work.
cigars - Once a year, the most expensive cuban I can afford on May Day
Snus if I can find it, but the never really happens.
Dipping tobacco, nope, hate it.
I was briefly addicted to nicorete, the stop smoking gum ...
My first ever chew was Red Man when I was younger than I care to admit. I toyed with that until I was 14 or 15. Then my love for pipes and dipping started at roughly the same time. At various points in the 30+ years since, the two habits have jockied for top billing. Copenhagen was the obvious choice in the military because I could dip inside a building or on an airplane or pretty much wherever and whenever I wanted. I never totally let go of the pipes though and always seemed to pick them up occassionally. When I retired, for some reason, the pipe just took the front seat. Nowadays, I'm a pipe smoker that occassionally gets the urge to pick up a can of Copenhagen.
Cigars, never much took the habit. Someone recently asked me if I also smoked cigars and I said that I had a hard and fast rule that I had to smoke a cigar ever 5 or 6 years whether I need to or not. Cigarettes, despite being raised by two of the most prolific smokers of cigarettes on the entire planet, I never took the habit. Like anyone else I dabbled with it in my teenage years but to be honest, it never really appealed to me nearly as much as dipping and pipes.

Haha, good to see a fellow dipper/chew user.
Well...I have primarily been a pipe smoker...cigarettes only when I am with friends at a bar...and someone else offers me one...and recently I have started to smoke cigars...and cigarillos...Cohibas are quite nice...and really they just exist for when it is not practical to have a pipe...I just like the pipe better.
Cheers,
Josh
Maybe 8 to 10 cigars a year. Usually a Punch or Joya de Nicaragua.
