Medic! Just blew a tenon!
Before I learned to slow down the pace of the draw, I'd pull that smoke from that bowl with maximum velocity...
Along with a well cooked tongue, I'd also have a moist, gurgling chunk o' briar.
As I had a two pipe rotation, and I wanted to dry out the pipe the best I could, I'd remove the stem - admittedly before it cooled. The result? You guessed it - a broken tenon...
Where do I go from here to get that pipe ack into the fold?

Tim west has a huge supply of stems and should be able to find one to match the broken one. He will also cut the tenon to fit the mortise. Of course, you will have to send him the pipe. :-(
