Happy Birthday, MPC!
That's right folks - it's one year ago today since MPC was started.
What originally started as a 3-hour website built to support a hobby has turned into quite an awesome community. We have a bunch of great people on the forums, and we have more joining all the time!
For myself, thank to all of you regular posters - you are what has made this site so great.
Here's to a great next year on MPC!

Ill smoke to that. Great having this site around, Thank You Brian for all your hard work and dedication. I fear that without MPC I may very well have not become so involved in the community in general. Certain other forums are not safe places for newbies. LOL
Thanks again !

If it weren't for MPC I'd most likely not have spent all that money on those new pipes this year. Its all this 'pipe talk' ... you did this to me!
Happy B-Day MPC.
Oooooh! Hey Brian ... who's been here longer, me or Ckr (I believe we both joined the same day which is MPC B-Day + 1 ... I soooooo want to call him the "Old man amoung us" ... please tell me he was here first ... ckr is an old man, ckr is an old man.

Well, for the record, ckr is user #25, and you are user #32. So, yes, he's been here longer.
Calibrator is actually user #2... slartie is #26...
RickPiatt - you are actually a young gun in these parts!
Rick is such a noob.

I may have been here longer, but. Yes there is a big but here. I was, as usual, wrapped up in a renovation project. My first post was April 27, 2007 while Rick had already posted on March 18, 2007.
If Rick wants to call me the old man, well could be likened to the pot calling the kettle black, but go ahead.
Now as far as comparing Rick to a Young Gun, that really would take a vivid imagination, just a glance would reveal it is more than likely that his gun stopped shooting before the West was Won.
Fume in pace, ckr
Happy Birthday MPC!

Congratulations Brian and to all those members who make this a good forum.

Been spinning my wheels here: http://drgrabows.myf...
and hopefully continue. Hard to beleive that a year has passed, but a most informative time, for sure. let's throw the dice and hope for another year w/ equally good times.
Well done, All.

gosh it feels so good to not be the old guy smoking the pipe around here! Hey, maybe I should go buy a cob and fill it with some cherry aromatic now since I'm such a newbie (thats how I started! - well, it was a stanwell not a cob but I'd not waste a Stanwell on cherry anything now).
