Road Map for MPC

Hello everyone.

Just so you know, I am still alive and thinking about MPC. Now that the cooler weather is approaching and we all have more time on our hands, I want to layout my vision for MPC, or what I see coming in the future.

We've had a generous offer of a hand-carved pipe to be donated as a contest prize, so any contest ideas are appreciated.

There will be a revamped layout to the site put together sooner or later. We will soon have funds available for that. This will be a large step since I've never really liked the current layout; the new setup will be cleaner, more readable, and will handle photographs better than what we have now.

There will be some infrastructure changes to handle images better as well. This will ensure that all images fit and display properly.

We plan to have an article & How-tos section where perhaps some of the more experienced among us may be interested in sharing their knowledge in a more permanent fashion. We hope eventually to have many articles covering pipe carving, packing, cleaning, and several other 'tricky' tasks.

The forums will be made somewhat more useful / feature complete.

Of course, I am extremely busy, so time for 'hobby sites' is somewhat limited. I can't promise any time schedule that I will be getting this all done by.
