This Just Isn't Fair Anywhere on This Planet

You'd think after 3 marriages the value of a well designed pre-nuptual agreement would be crystal clear by now

$46.68 MILLION dollars, come on, I've had my fair share but none that's worth that kind of coin. Alas, the power of the cooter in action.

Who says money ...

...can't buy hooter's and Cooter's. It was probably the money that got her panties off in the first place. Why would anyone be surprised when she got tired of peg-leg and bailed out with some big bucks! It happens all the time.

But, I agree, it's not worth it. My first wife cleaned my financial clock and I'll likely not ever fully recover. But, my wife of 13 years, now, that is a different story. She did not marry me for money, of that I am certain. Maybe that's why it works so well.

Hats off to the hot chicks that know how to turn pun-tang into gold. Regrets and empathy to those rich guys that thought they found true love.

So on and so forth...

Live in sin. According to my priest, sin is ther only thing you can take with you when you die. Go for it, I say!

Don't Get me Wrong

I have the utmost respect for the sacrament and institution of marriage but you can be your boots if I was sitting on a mountain of cash and some scorch cake decided we should get married, I would certainly at least take a minute to address the possibility of alterior motives by putting her on a salary cap. You can bet Mr. Collins is wishing he'd done so but he's $47 million too late.

The disturbing part (for me at least) is that this woman became insanely wealthy for doing just one thing (that isn't really work at all). It would be a different thing if she was with him since day one, lived in shoe box apartments and subsisted on a diet of rice and beans before he was famous or rich. But she didn't. He was already insanely wealthy and world famous when she married him. It's not like she did house work or worked a job to help with expenses. She had hired help to care for her kids and basically helped him spend his money on high dollar clothes, vacations, cars and the like, in return she did just one thing. For six years and made $47 million dollars. The per shot cost was probably on par with a cruise missle.

Another good example

of why divorce court is a women's world. When married she was a young thing of 27 and he had just hit the big 50. Some men never learn, I can hardly feel sorry for someone that had previously incurred 34 million reasons to remind him of a pre-nup. Of course we all know which head was doing all the thinking. Like our Congressmen, just didn't know how to use a calculator. Well the numbers say for the past six years this young thing earned $894.21 an hour or $21,461.18 a day. Add to this the "life style" she was kept in and I am sure the figure would be even more astounding. Obviously this is one smart chick and one big sap. Even at the rate that Eliot Spitzer paid this coin could have been spent wiser, like maybe 78.3 cruise missles.

Given the choice ...

I'd have shot the bitch. Or paid someone to to it so there would be no trail back to me ... I'm sure you can put a hit on someone for less that that divorce settlement. Why have mercy on her ... she certainly had no mercy on him.

Obviously I'm being facetious here folks ... I don't believe in killing ... but damn, that was a lot of money to lose. I don't care how good she was, she wasn't THAT good.

I have known

I have known guys that were practically reduced to poverty level by a divorce, especially if there were kids involved. I went down that road once myself and escaped relatively (emphasis on relatively) unscathed.

I got taken

to the cleaners. But it was worth it. After all, it's only money, you can make more. After all, just another woman. There are more. Let's talk Dunnies...

Took me

a year or two to come to that same conclusion and after 3 or 4 I was actually very happy to make that check out every month. In all honesty though, I was probably ecstatic when it was over. Got those two new Dunnies yet?

Chris,

NOTHING that is supposed to happen happens quickly in Africa. Not postal deliveries, not vote counting (unless your side is winning), not getting the masses working/ housed/ educated/ AIDS free, not making up ones mind, not meetings, not traffic, not delivery of anything, really. What happens suddenly is what is not supposed to happen. Afterward everyone says that the reason why it happened was because what was supposed to happen was so slow in coming. So they kinda expected it. Thats what happens.
