Saturday Smokes
On a beautiful, clear, warm day, I have bowlful of Bayou Morning a my little GBD bulldog. Tonight, after watching the local rugby semi-finals, I'll barbeque a couple of rump steaks. What more could a civilised man ask for? Enjoy the weekend.

Enjoy your rugby match hope your team wins, I know your steaks will be good. I broke my nose playing rugby in high school ouch. Jack
I'm starting the day with Riverboat Gambler in a Design-Berlin bulldog and French roast on the side. Have a good one!

No sign holding for three days. The day, sunny and no clouds - it is going to be a great one. Little racking, plant some grass seed and cob it up with the prince. First one of the day, oh it crumbled so easily, C&D Red Fox in my fishing pipe, ice cold French roast and a little Dave Mason (formally of Traffic) on the box. I'll wish you all some pleasant smokes and be on my way.

Gonna fire up some Walnut, grab a coffee and head to the shop for the day. Probably used my last good piece of briar for the most recent pipe. What I have left is all pre-drilled and most of it has flaws in the chamber walls. Gonna have to save my pennies and get some more.
Off to Jamestown this weekend to visit with the significant others family. Pumpkin ville on Sunday. Its a good time, all the kids love it... I go for the fresh Pumpkin doughnuts and fresh apple cider.

play us a tune, something to make us all happy..." Ah, the dulcet tone of Stevie Winwood, whose best work was w/ Spencer Davis (IMO), and the underappreciated percussion of Rebop. Anyway, there's no Traffic on Saturday and I chose ERRd in a KW shellcraft somewhere between a billiard and volcano obtained in a trade a few months ago. KW's starting to do really nice things w/ their pipes again. Maxwell House on the side. I used up the Lusianne, needing a run to the grocery this AM.
56F and sunny so far, up since 0430 EDT, smoking and writing.

It's an absolutely perfect fall day here, I'm breaking in my Ruthenberg with some TOTM. I have almost the entire day to myself, so it's time to kick back and relax.

Last evening, just sitting around reading, I burned a bowl of Walnut. I hadn't smoked it in a while but man it sure tasted good. My just pick up where I left off and smoke 2 or 3 more of those today.

... Gonna give the grandkids an airplane ride today to view the Fall colors. Smokin Captain Bob's all day and will enjoy Riverboat Gambler this evening.

Is a beautiful thing. A perfect day here as well.
The ride into work was my traditional as of late Old Joe Krantz in my KW Supergrain bent apple.
I foresee OGS in my dedicated Peterson Rock of Cashel XL02 bent apple rusticated. That monster incinerating OGS relaxes me more than most. Only dedicated pipe I have, but I like the fact that I am getting nothing but OGS nuances out of that pipe.
Have a great day all!

It's a magnificent day! 80 degrees and windless clear skies. I have four acres that need mowing. But first, some Old Joe Krantz in a Radice underwood.
I had to make a run to the store this morning and needed to scrape the car windows (it's getting to be that time again). Got back home, made a pot of Yuban, and filled a Kaywoodie with PA.
Saturday continues with more coffee, more PA, and more Kaywoodies.

Chris did this to me. Its all his birthday self's fault!
Started off with a Dunhill DGTing some MacBaren Navy Flake.
Moved on to an Armellini full of Dunhill London Mixture.
Finished off with that same Armellini full of Penzance.
Enough!
To be continued tomorrow.
