Tuesday Smokes 7/22/08
Don't have a pulse yet but when I do, think I'll smoke some OJK on the way to work. PA for later in the day. Have a good one!

When I am done defilibrating the old GI, I'll get myself a mug of hot coffee and a bowl of bad nun II.
If I have not seen as far as others, it's because giants have been standing on my shoulders.
is Morley's Best in a Pete SH. This is good stuff on a day that definitely needs perking up - it's gone from good to yuk & is now dawdling at OK. But the weather is magnificent - almost an early Spring day, without the breeze. Pity about having to work. Drat.
About 70 degrees and sun. A lot dryer, too. Anything tastes good today. Got my 7 inch canadian tokin C&D Two Friends - Heritage. Will rotate Captain Bob's Blend (my own) and C&D Riverboat Gambler, as usual. Got five pipes with me today and a lot on my desk. I hope I have time to get some work accomplished.

I think I will go for some Balkan Sasieni in a Stanwell 45 pot.
It hit a toasty 100 F here today. I did not make it all the way home from work with the windows down. Had to finally turn on the A/C. I'm weak, I tell ya!

Tuesday, just seems like we had one last week also. Scrounging about the
dumbputer station I came across a baggie with slice of ABF. Little on the dry side but WTH... I stuffed into a KW 5051b and am having at it. Doesn't seemed to have lost any of its flavor but it has got a little of a harsh edge on it, in a good way.
Good stuff.

From out on the patio ... I felt all weighted down with decisions when I got home. All irritable, grouchy, miserable. Now after a bit of precious time with a good book and this excellent pipe I'm feeling almost human again. Thank God for quiet times after a tough day.

As I clamored out the door this morning to go keep this family at least two weeks from total disaster, I did a quick gear check and threw pouch #1 in my pipe bag not really knowing what was in pouch#1 (then again all I smoke is kick ass burley blends so how bad could it get?). Much to my surprise as I jumped in the truck and loaded and fired a 7769 from pouch #1. There came the unmistakeable creamy, spicey goodness of non-other than RIVERBOAT GAMBLER! I totally thought I was out of RG but found a full pouch! I don't think I could be more tickled if I'd found $20 in a pair of pants I hadn't worn for a while. Naturally I spent the balance of the day wollowing in RG heaven. LIFE IS GOOD.

Trying to make myself to finish a paper with the very absolutely last deadline two weeks ago. I hate this piece.
50/50 mixture of PS's Luxury Twist and C&D's White burley in a bent. Lousy combination.

I'm in the mood for something different. So, lets see ... hmm ... Solani Aged Burley Flake in my only Meer (Barling) ... yup, that'll do it nicely. More good book on the side too!
Ahhh, I almost feel human again.

They say great minds think alike!! That is why I am sputtering out the last bowl of Edgeworth Slices. Appreciate this sample Rick and I am not sorry I forgot about the last bowl. Crumbley dry and gravity feed into a Dr.G (opps, wrong forum, err a Nordh Ballerina) and it is smoking up nicely. Good kick, slight hiccups and it is a shame that this is no longer available. It really was a delightful couple of smokes.

and turn over the chairs, let me in for a smoke. It's still hot, 83F at 2216 EDT, and nary a breeze anywhere. Tonight, after a crummy day, I started smoking my KW 86B relief grain. First smoke after dinner was some CH, then HB, then CH again. Now, it's ERRd in the same pipe, with all those wonderful flavors mingling as an undertone to the ERRd. Hope you all have a wonderful evening.
