I don't know, I understand the idea of taking a rest to smoke a pipe being benificial. However, as for the tabacco itself you can find positive things in everything. You can find positive things in cocaine if you really want to look hard enough.

I know that smoking will ultimately reduce my life expectancy, smoking kills. I've heard rick give the ol' smoke in a completly sterile enviroment, abstain from any form of liquor, and only briefly hold the smoke before expelling it.

Really though, smoking is the one dangerous chemical I will not be treating like a dangerous chemical. I couldn't be damned to really think that hard about it. I won't deny or try to justify it, but at the same time I won't play the victem about it being so addictive that it controls my life either.

It is what it is.

I am not trying to say cigarette smoking is healthy just that something is not adding up right and pipe smoking is less of a threat then cigarette smoking.
