Just plain BIZARRE
Kenya has just banned public smoking! Kenya - the country where, in December last year, hooligans were burning one another & killing one another with bows & arrows - has decided that an important matter on its national agenda is to ban public smoking. My word! This country has no national health system of any substance to protect. I was there in February. The place is pitifully poverty stricken. Great people though. I was there in February. I smoked my pipe outside the airport in Nairobi, over my coffee. No more.

Apparently anal cranial inversion has become a world wide epidemic. If the trend continues into Asia and turns off the billion or so Chinese that enjoy smoking then we will be through. Tobacco will no longer be a cash crop and a pound of pipe tobacco will cost about what a good used car does.
This however, seems ridiculous even for the tobacco nazis (a movement who thrives on ridiculous extremes). We're OK with genocide but smoking...no. We have to make sure that our mass graves contain only untainted lungs. YGBSM!

What a waste of time. You mean to tell me these folks are in such good order, that this is a top priority for their country? If they are so perfect a nation as to need this before many other social reforms, maybe someone should nuke'em into reality. If the ban comes to America for "all public smoking" I have decided to be come an illegal alien... I'll cross the border and live in Mexico. It will be like driving on a one-way street with all the traffic coming to the US. I'll tell them they can have it!
