Since Morleysson brought it up and it is probably not the most popular topic amoung pipe smokers. I felt like breaking some rules tonight. Here in our little portion of cyber space we can escape this PC world and take a blast of the past. I am sure there are members of this forum who had no idea what LS/MFT related to. Soon our world will be completely sanitized and what now exists on the web will most likely not be here in another ten years. I can remember jingle after jingle over the airwaves so I went to look for a few of them on youtube.com. After hitting a couple with cigarette comercials it occured to me to also look for pipe or pipe tobacco comercials. Unfortunately, I could not find a single one.

IIRC, the first step was to limit the hours that tobacco products could be aired. Since reason or good judgement has ceased to exist.
Anyway, if you got some time to kill, search youtube yourself.

edit: I never understood why parliment had the filters in anyway, they're still like that. What's the supposed deal?

Yeah, I knew that without looking at the commercial or reading, or researching. I have smoked Luckies on and off since I was in high school. Just something about the flavor not being obstructed by a filter. I still like to pick up a pack once in awhile and even had the gas station across the street order them for me.

If you absolutely positively have to smoke cigs, please let them be unfiltered. They taste soooooooooo much better that way.

My Dad smoked LS and referred to them as "coffin nails".

I still smoke LS once in awhile, but on a regular basis, its filtered... GASP !!
The goal is to quit cigarettes alltogether, so it should be a non issue eventually.
