Dunkin' Donuts Coffee
I found this stuff in the store recently and the original blend is absolutely superb. If you haven't tried it, do yourself a favor and please do. It's no surprise that Consumer Reports rated it above Starbucks and other premium blends. Goes great with a pipe of your favorite blend in the morning.

I've never made Dunkin' Donuts coffee at home, but enjoy it on the road often along with Green Mountain.
Last Christmas, I received a pound of Starbucks French Roast and have been hooked on that for my at home brewing.
My days off I look forward to three or four mugs of java to go with continual bowls of burley.

I find whole bean and freshly ground to my liking. I usually buy bulk and mix French Roast:Columbian - 2:1

I never was much of a coffee hound until my neice started working at DD ... fell in love with that light columbian bean for quite a while. Then I stumbled onto a couple of micro-roasteries and sampled some of their products ... oh my gosh what a difference FRESHLY roasted coffee makes over the packaged stuff. By and large, I enjoy Vienna or French Roasted coffees from Indonesia best. Have some every morning. The caffine level is significantly stronger than DD and now when I have a DD I find myself missing the stronger caffene level - although the flavor is still wonderful.
Unfortunately on Dr's orders now I have to drink powdered milk rather than light cream. I have Splenda instead of sugar (or sugar in the raw ... ohhh, that stuff was sooooooo good). But, thank God its all still good and I can enjoy a cup every day.

Grampa Bill, you are my kind of guy. I am an insufferable Dunkin Donuts Original Blend fan!! My bride knows that no birthday or Christmas present is more precious than a DD gift certificate.
Now, to support my considerable frame, I need to add cream and sugar of course. I tell anyone that will listen to do themselves a favor and try this awesome coffee.
I usually stop by the local DD for a cup in the a.m. I bought some beans there and brought it home to brew, but it isn't quite the same. Still awesome, but I can't get the strength just right combined with the "ghost" flavor from our normal Maxwell House.
DD's Local competitor Tim Horton's set up shop directly next door with drive thru service and gimmick breakfast combo's - bent on running this Mom and Pop DD out of business but a nice mix of hometown feel, great service and the God sent coffee has their parking lot full with much more sustained business than Tim Hortons.
And it does go just right with my morning smoke!

Until DD started popping up all over around here. Being sooo close to Canada, we have had Tim Hortons forever. I was always a die hard Timmy' Ho's fan, but DD is soooo much smoother, and tastier. I must admit, I wind up drinking crappy gas station coffee when I am in a pinch, as it is right across the street and an easy stop on the way to work. But when I get a chance, its DD all the way.

For a little taste of Sweden, you should get Zoegas Skanerost from The Northerner: http://www.northerne...
Hell, if you like coffee that much, get one of each and really have a go at what we like to drink around here.

I can't get a double long at Dunken Donouts. That and I prefer a viennese roast in drip coffee anyway. Also, I'm currently a baker, until I finish my schooling anyway, and I would say please don't eat their donouts. Haha :)
Are nothing special anyway, IMO, but there coffee is good.

I love Dunkin' Donuts coffee and their butter crunch fat pills. The Problem is I'm always waiting in line behind someone who's getting 5 mochafappacrappo's and a hand selected dozen for the office so it's a 20 min. wait in line. Time is money so I'm forced to drive thru or drink gas station coffee.
Justin, I forgive you! *shaking my head at you* To think you might say DD's donuts don't rule. OMG. I miss them so much since the doc told me I was diabetic ... damn ... sure could go for one right now ... mmmm ... oops, slipping ... must ... move ... on ... aaaahhhhh.
I've tried Tim Horton's donuts ... they're ok.
Krispy Kream are terrible.
Honeydew are mediocre.
DD rules!
I need something sweet ... gimme a cup of coffee with lots of splenda in it! (hey, its the best I can do!)

My appologies for that, maybe I was not thinking clearly, maybe my sugar was low. Who knows.

You make it so easy for me to torment you that I can't help myself. DD donuts suck, but maybe my sugar level was low.
Audio books suck, but maybe I should give them another chance.
Take a stand, no one cares if you are right or wrong. it is your beliefs that make you or break you, stand your ground.
We are all here to contribute and we can't always be correct. I step in more shit than I can swallow, join the club. Better than being a politician or PC. Let loose, and post some more stinky gym sock posts. Find your pipe idenity.
BTW: don't be insulted or indiferent, be Sparky!
Ah, the election season just makes me crazy.

Just to address the couple things you mentioned....
I have never liked audio books, but my interest in maybe giving them a try are the same reasons I might try a tobacco I hated 4 years ago, maybe I am missing out on something, and maybe all of these people that like them so much are onto something. I may try it, I may not, I may find out that they still "SUCK"
Dunkin Donuts... That post was just playing around. I didnt turn around and say I liked them, I simply appologized to Rick for insulting his favorite sugar coated fat rings (the donuts) I still dont like their donuts... I personally think they suck. Always have, maybe always will, but who knows, I might try them again sometime and like them. Ya never know.
I will make a more concerted effort to seek out and step in more steaming piles in the future.

Chris,
You and I are old men - well set in our ways and full of opinions about everything. Justin is younger than the two of so he's not quite so opinionated as us ... give him time to make a choice and grow some cohonies!
(sorry Justin, not slammin' ya)
But in retrospect ... I can see how you might get insulted from that ...
But you shouldn't ...
Then again, maybe you should ... nah.
Just bustin on ya.
Now Chris ... gotta love it ... leave The Beaver alone! (please don't stop, I need the laughs)

need any encouragement? Nah, it started as a simple ribbing but I think the ball got knocked out of the park so to speak.

On the donuts. Places like DD or Tim Hortons no longer fry or make their own donuts. They come frozen and are baked off. If you want good donuts go to an independent bakery. They taste better, they're usually fresh that day, and this may sound wierd, but their actually healthier(minimaly).
Although I personaly hate donuts as I make anywhere from 200-700 every f#@%ing day.
