Favotite online Tobacconists?
Just curious, when placing online orders, which are your favorites to do business with? I'm hoping to find out about a few here I may not be aware of.

I've had some good experiences with Richard at http://www.4noggins.... - easy to talk to, and ships over the border to Canada :p
I mostly use www.smokingpipes.com for my tobacco needs, they are great to deal with and pretty speedy as well. They aren't the only ones I use but probably the one used most often.

I've had super luck and great service with the following Folks: Hermit Tobacco Works,The Pipe Rack, Pipesand cigars.com, Watch City,Cup O'Joes, Affordable Pipes,Mars Cigars and The Virginia Tobacco Comany...

I didn't see mentioned http://affordablepipes.com I bought a little Blue Grass Melody from them and a couple of pipes....it took a while to get the pipes since they were special order....however they sealed the plastic tobacco pouch that they ship the tobacco in. It arrived moist and by the way I won the Burley Outdoor Curling section on ASP with that tobacco.
The Great Pawn Hunter
Pipesandcigars.com usually for tobacco and marscigars.com for snuff.
Have had zero problems with either of them and pipesandcigars.com get my stuff to me in 2 days, of course they are in NY and I'm in OH. Marscigars has the best snuff selection and prices I've seen, great house blends at pipesandcigars.com too.
I just placed an order with Milan Tobacconist and was pleasantly surprised to receive the order in 3-days. Milan Tobacconist is located in Virginia while I'm in Washington state. They are also great people to deal with and take the time to answer your questions. I ordered two 4oz bags of tobac and got an additional three samples (1 oz each) of free tobac. They could have taken another 4oz order but they actually suggested that I try a free sample rather than commit to the 4 oz. How many tobacconist will give up an order? I'll be ordering from them again.
Personally I find Cornell & Diehl to be very good and I have had great service from Mars Cigar as well.

Rich at 4noggins.com is superbly helpful as is Craig Tarler at C&D. Between these two, my tobacco needs are very well catered for and I wholeheartedly recommend them, especially to UK smokers.

I've placed orders at both www.smokingpipes.com and www.pipesandcigars.c... with great success. They have always shipped everything to me quickly. pipeandcigars.com usually has better prices and greater selection of tobacco, however.

I think that there are a lot of really good ones out there, but three have had the vast majority of my business
thepiperack.com is my resource for higher-grade and older estate pipes. Their service is excellent as are their prices
Smokingpipes.com is my one stop E-shop for all things pipe related
Frenchyspipes.com has been a great resource for finding lower cost yard and give-away pipes
cheers,
Josh
Pipes and Cigars.com and C&D. I've had great luck with both of these. Reasonable prices, good products and quick delivery

Here's a link where a bunch of us (quite a while ago) discussed favorite etailers ... might be helpful to ya!

It's actually nice to see someone pick up older topics and give them a new breath of life.
I had completely forgotten about The Briary. I hear from several people that those guys are excellent to deal with. I just might have to finally pick up a few Cavicchi's and see what all the hubbub is about.

I'll have to go with Habana Premium.
Having recently placed an order with smokingpipes.com I have to applaud their speedy service. I placed my order on Jan 1st and it was shipped on Jan 3rd. It reached Denmark about a week later as expected.

I think I've probably ordered from all the big ones and have never had an issue with any of them. OutWest is another good one and The Briary out of Birmingham has a good collection of high end pipes. I mostly buy tobacco so in the interest of variety I end up chasing blends from one shop to another. They all seem to deliver within 5 days and their sites all seem secure. Never dealt with any bad ones and I think that probably says a little something about the general character of tobacco users.
Personally I find Cornell & Diehl to be very good and I have had great service from Mars Cigar as well.

RevJay summed it up rather well, as always. I like JR's for bigger bulk/tub purchases. I found them to be remarkably accommodating and quick in their service.
