I'm happy to report that my congested air filter is cleared up and that tobacco tastes as good as it should. I started out the day with a bowl of Wesleys Old gold blend no. 43 in a straight Keyser billiard and with a mug of strong, bitter coffee it went down like nectar from the gods. The weather is fine after a couple of cold and windy days and I can tell it's going to be a GREAT day.
Enjoy your smokes gents.
If it can't cut, it's a pipe!

Mine's 2015 in a South African pipe - an Ebenhart half bent apple, that does bery well with this tobacco. My second cup of coffee is almost finished (it's quite cold), & I must get my sorry a$$ off to work. How damnable on such a fine, Spring day. Here's a few lines from Robert Frost:
Oh, give us pleasure in the flowers to-day;
And give us not to think so far away
As the uncertain harvest; keep us here
All simply in the springing of the year.
Enjoy your day.
I promised myself some 5Edges out of this thing so that's what I'll do for the drive in. Afterwards, probably Big n Burley. Have a great day folks!

Got myself a sample pack from those ppl, 100 grams, 4 diff samples. Good service.
If I have not seen as far as others, it's because giants have been standing on my shoulders.
Riverboat Gambler served up in a Savinelli second bulldog. Gotta mow the lawn today before tomorrows flooding rains.

Finish GLP cumberland, I'm starting with my first tin of S.G. Golden Glow.
This tobacco is a young virginia broken flake, in my first puffs I find similar with OGS.
Not the same, but similar.

... but back to work on Monday. I'll only be a week behind!
I opened up another eight ounce tin of Riverboat Gambler to rotate with Captain Bob's and Two Friends Heritage. Will smoke at least six different pipes today, of the fifteen pipes in rotation.
Happy weekend to one and all!

a bowl of Manhattan Afternoon, fishing pipe - slim pickings and will probably clean the rest of my herd this evening. Has taken longer than I anticipated. Saturday, total waste - will be heading into Matches country, weather steamy and sauna like - Oh friggin' joy.
Well, time to dust off the suit, find a tie without holes and the absolute worst thing - trim the beard and shave.
Fume in pace, ckr

Never did get to that pipe. Never got to the patio. Darn. Oh well. I hate when that happens. Worst part is I was thinking of that pipe all day long.

are like that, Rick. I had my mind all set for a marathon smoking session today. I seriously intended to abuse a large tub of H&H in 5 or 6 KWs, but familial obligations seemed to decide for me. The first good smoke of the day was an Auld Erin 106 w/ ERRd. The current smoke is the Reynolds Rouser and Morley's Best. Later, more C&D's handiwork.
