Hello From Alabama

Hello From Alabama

Hello All:

My name is John Brill (thus the user name jaybee....ok so I'm not that original) and I am from Alabama. I have smoked a pipe for around 34 years and I also contribute (or at least like to think I do) to Smoker's Forum. I see some familiar names here....this looks like a great group and I look forward to getting to know you better...

John

Let me be the first to welcome you

Hi John,

Sometimes the time zones work for me...let me be the first to welcome you to the MPC!

Ok, make that the 2nd. Highstump got there ahead of me ;)

Hi John

Welcome to MPC. Yeah, I hang around SF from time to time, annoying people. They're a decent sort there. The folks here are, well, decent too I suppose. It's just that we get to say things that wouldn't be said on nice forums like SF - things are pretty straight here. In a tolerant way though. But, having said all of that, this is the greatest bunch of guys you're likely to meet on an internet forum. Enjoy it!

Welcome Jaybee!

Glad to have you aboard.

34 years- hope to learn from you.

You've found a neat site.

Hi Jaybee...

Welcome to MPC, a little more intimate than SF, which I too frequent as well. Hope to see you around.

A fine welcome

Jaybee, good to see you posting here. Since you like the heritage tobaccos, I'll think that you'll find this a most congenial group. Our MPC smokers should know that Mr Brill is most knowledgeable in the ways of pipes and tobacco.

Welcome!

I'd like to extend my welcome as well.

It won't take long before you discover what a wonderful bunch of weirdos we are. I bet you'll fit right in, given you smoke a pipe and all that ;-P

Stick around and post often. I am looking forward reading you!
