10/17/08 - Morleysson - "Other than rubbing two sticks together, or flint and tinder, and lightening takes too long and can be dangerous, I prefer Diamond kitchen matches in the house and the smaller Diamond packs for travel." (on what he uses to light his pipe)
10/17/08 - 1OLDGI - "So Ricky, here's what you do. Pull out a Kaywoodie (make sure it's clean), lock and load a nice bowl of PA, Half and Half, or Edgeworth. Set fire to same. Open a cold Natural Light and enjoy. Sometimes less is more and getting back to basics is a sure fire way to stave off these sorts of existential funks."

Hello Tom
This is my Pipe. There are many like it, but this one is MINE.
My pipe is my best friend. It is my life.
I must master it as I must master my life.
My pipe without me is useless. Without my Pipe, I am useless
I am Lars, and welcome to a great place with your everyday nutcases, certifiables and all round good people. Some are many things at once, and a few nothing at all .. which we frown upon, but all are welcome none the less.

I see from your other posts you are a burleyphile. Welcome aboard indeed.

is a pretty accepting place but possibly we are rolling out the red carpet a bit too easily. I mean, come on Cheesecake and French fries. We do have to set some standards.

If I am not mistaken...he was referring to a steak sandwich and fries...plus...he smokes burleys...sounds like a good combo...I wouldn't mind a cheese-steak right now come to think on it...
Cheers,
Josh
Wow, good save Josh could have sworn it was cheesecake. Next time I take point I want you behind me. Could have proved pretty embarrassing if we all jumped down his throat for the wrong reason. Know any software that has a read checker?
Fume in pace, ckr
well...macs can read for you...but I don't know about read-checkers...hehe
Cheers,
Josh

and where, might I ask in Philadelphia, do you live? Obtaining the right cheesesteak is so de rigeur. Or, even better, where one buys their roast pork and broccoli rabe sandwiches. Very important. FYI, there is a meeting of the Christopher Morley Pipe Club on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. If you're interested, PLMK.
Again, welcome.

Nice to meet you Tom. Light up a bowl
