How would you like to win a Joel Shapiro pipe just for visiting? How would you like to get free Pipe books, for posting to the forums? One of the major things we want to do with this site is run regular contests to reward our members for contributing. Keep checking back, because this is where we will list upcoming contests.
Points Points are not used in every contest. However, they will still factor in to a number of our contests. Points may be acquired by posting forum topics, posting comments, making blog posts, or referring users. Points will be reset at the beginning of every month.
Referrals On your profile page is a referral link that may be used to invite new members to the site. For every member you refer, you gain 2% their points. Furthermore, your own points are subject to an immediate 25% increase. These are just two of the many contest types we are planning. Keep checking back for more information!
Contest Funds: Our prizes are paid for by sponsors or via the funds raised from the Ebay ads at the bottom of every page of this site. No profit is taken off the ads on the site; all proceeds go towards the contest fund!

The Prize
The prize for this contest is an official 'My Pipes Community' engraved Zippo. The Zippo is the 'Pipes Galore' model, with the pipe-cutout windscreen, with 'My Pipes Community' engraved on the back.
How to Win It
This contest will be focused around the blog writers of MPC. Don't worry, we aren't basing it on points!
Many of you are making some great posts in your blogs, either talking about your experiences, favourite smokes, trips you've taken and just about everything under the sun. Well, for all you MPC bloggers, this one's for you.
For each of the next four weeks (June 18 - July 15th, 2007), impartial judges will be picking a best blog post from all the blog posts written at My Pipes Community that week.
At the end of each of the four weeks, we will post the weekly best post here. Once all 4 weekly best posts are determined, we will open the voting to the community, to choose a final winner. The winner will recieve the prize shipped to them.
Who Qualifies?
This contest is open to everyone, whether you are an 'old-timer' at MPC, or new to the community.
How Do I Write a Blog Post?
Simple - Log in, or Register a new account. Once logged in, look in the left-hand menu for 'My Blog'. When you arrive, click 'Post New Blog Entry'. Or, click here!
